Maximilian Webers was born in Northern Germany and raised on the island of Rügen. He pursued higher education in cities across Germany and internationally, including Nuremberg, Berlin, Munich, and Trois-Rivières in Canada, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Management.
In 2016, he began his career in Jakarta, Indonesia, as a Project Manager for the Swiss firm DKSH. After a year, he returned to Berlin, where he worked as a Strategy Consultant for Capgemini, a French consulting company, and later transitioned to a team lead role in a mobility-as-a-service startup from 2019.
Since 2021, Maximilian has been the co-founder and CEO of COLIPI, a Hamburg-based biotech and climate tech startup. His work at COLIPI focuses on transforming carbon dioxide into sustainable hydrocarbon molecules, including the company’s trademarked "Climate Oil," to support a carbon-neutral future.
